2021 Honda Accord vs 2020 Honda Accord

Serving Charlottesville, VA

The Honda Accord is the midsize sedan that checks off every box on your list. It has a long-standing history of delivering excellent performance with thoughtful features in a stylish package. Across its decades-long history, the Accord has benefited from numerous improvements from bumper to bumper. With your eye on a new Honda Accord, you need to explore the differences between the 2020 and 2021 versions of the Honda Accord.

Performance

The Accord is available with the same gas-powered engines for 2020 and 2021, but the manual transmission option has been eliminated in the latest model year. The powertrain that is standard in most trim levels is a 192-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 1.5-liter engine. The alternative is a 252-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine. The primary powertrain comes with a continuously variable transmission, and the more powerful choice is tied to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

The 2020 Honda Accord is easy on the eyes with its lean, flowing accents and an athletic profile. For 2021, the Accord shows off lovely updates that boost its appeal. These updates are centered around the front end. Precisely, the long nose angles downward slightly with accentuate running down the hood. The rounded front end has a reshaped grille with horizontal bars that sink to the lower front fascia. This grille is integrated seamlessly with multi-elemental LED headlights. Some trims also have foglamps.

Features

The 2021 Honda Accord’s trim levels have been adjusted slightly, but most of the available or included features remain the same. The most notable difference in features is the availability of wireless smart device integration. You will also find features like leather seats, Honda Sensing® equipment, a navigation system, a sound system, adaptive cruise control, USB ports, a heated steering wheel, and more throughout the various trim levels.

Umansky Honda is the local dealership you can turn to for assistance with your Accord comparison and purchase. We will happily show off the differences between the model years and the trim levels when you stop by soon. Call ahead to schedule your visit with a member of our sales team.
