Serving Charlottesville, VA

At Umansky Honda, we consistently maintain exceptional diversity throughout our extensive inventory. This makes it easier for our valued customers to find the specific vehicle that is a smart match for their individual needs. The Honda Pilot is the midsize crossover SUV that local drivers have often been drawn to over the years, and this three-row vehicle could have all of the functionality and capabilities that you need in your next crossover. Both the 2020 and 2021 Pilot versions are mid-generation versions, but they are not identical. Learning about the differences between the 2020 and 2021 Pilot crossovers can help you reduce your search scope so that you can find your next vehicle without the hassle.

Performance

The powertrain in the 2020 Pilot is unchanged going into the 2021 version, but the transmission has changed. Specifically, both model years benefit from a 280-horsepower, V6, 3.5-liter engine. Throughout most trims for both years, front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available. However, the Black Edition and Elite trims have all-wheel drive as a standard feature. In 2021, the Pilot’s engine is only available with a nine-speed auto transmission.

Appearance

In 2021, the Honda Pilot continues to have the same level of modern appeal as its 2020 version has. This is because the Pilot’s style and exterior features are unchanged between these two years. This vehicle is designed to be both capable and aesthetically pleasing. It shows off a hands-free liftgate, triangular LED headlights with a lengthy series of bulbs, and a pair of crisp personality lines that angle across the side doors. The Special Edition trim is new for 2021, but it does not have any unique exterior features.

Features

When our sales reps at Umansky Honda open the doors to the 2020 and 2021 Pilot, you may discover a few differences in select trims. Most notably, the LX trim level now comes with a dual-zone climate management system in 2021. The all-new Special Edition trim adds a hands-free liftgate and wireless device charging to all of the features in the EX-L trim level. Other features for 2020 and 2021 are comparable. The Pilot may also have desired features like Apple CarPlay, assistive Honda Sensing® features, Android Auto, heated front seats, and other items.

At Umansky Honda, our sales associates consistently provide attentive, individualized service to each of our customers. Are you ready to pick out your next crossover from our expansive inventory? Schedule your visit to Umansky Honda by calling or emailing us today.
