Honda introduces the Civic’s 11th generation in the 2022 model year, and it brings exciting updates for drivers and passengers to appreciate. Both the 2021 and 2022 Honda Civic versions have athletic styling and an extensive range of features across their trim lineups, and the 2022 model year shows off several improvements that you will love. What should you know about the 2021 and 2022 Honda Civic options before you finalize your purchase at Umansky Honda?

Performance

The improvements under the hood of the 2022 Civic are subtle yet meaningful. In the LX and Sport trim levels, the same 158-horsepower, the 2.0-liter gas engine is standard. However, the 2022 model year introduces automatic start-stop tech. For the EX and Touring trim levels, both model years have a 1.5-liter turbo engine. However, mechanical improvements have boosted its output to 180 horsepower in 2022.

Appearance

The style differences between the 2021 and 2022 Honda Civic sedans are bold. On the exterior, the 2022 Civic takes on a more sophisticated tone without losing its athletic side. This is accomplished through athletic side accents and prominent rocker panels on the sides. The smooth profile is set up by the stacked bar grille design. LED lights at the front and rear have a bent bar design for a modern touch. Some 2022 Civic trim levels have special features like 18-inch wheels, a spoiler on the trunk lid, and premium exhaust finishers. On the inside, the 2022 Civic has a completely revised look. In addition to the redesigned central display screen, the mesh-style bar that flows across the entire length of the dashboard defines the cabin’s style. This mesh pattern makes the air vents almost indistinguishable, except for the vents’ joystick control knobs.

Features

The Honda Civic is a smaller sedan that has been outfitted with top-notch features for years. In 2022, Honda has boosted the Civic’s appeal with a few impressive improvements. These include the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto at all trim levels. All trims also have an enhanced display screen with an easy-to-use interface. The 2022 Civic Touring now comes with front and rear parking sensors that have touch-based functionality. In addition, several of the assistive features in the Honda Sensing® group have modernized technology for improved safety on the road.

At Umansky Honda, our friendly sales agents are waiting to show off the 2022 Civic’s many improvements. To get to know the next-generation Civic in person, stop by our showroom soon.
