Serving Charlottesville, VA

Today's SUV shoppers have firm expectations for their next vehicles, and they can often find something perfect in the Honda lineup. For 2023, the Honda line of crossovers holds many exciting options, including the two-row CR-V and the three-row Pilot. The CR-V and the Pilot are similar in a few striking ways, but they are also boldly different. What can you expect from these Honda crossovers?

Performance

Depending on which of the 2023 CR-V's trims you select, your crossover could have a gas-powered or hybrid powertrain. These are a 190-horsepower, 1.5-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine, and a hybrid, 204-horsepower alternative. The CR-V also comes with an auto continuously variable transmission and the option for front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. If you prefer to drive home in the 2023 Pilot, your SUV will benefit from 285 horsepower generated by a 3.5-liter V6 system. In addition to being available with all-wheel or front-wheel drive, this engine links to a 10-speed auto transmission.

Appearance

When you compare the fronts of these Honda crossovers, you will notice that their wide grilles and stunning headlights have the same shapes. For the CR-V, the grille is smaller, and an LED bar lines the top of the headlights. For the Pilot, the LED bar is placed below the headlights. A dark bumper and thin air vents on the front also define the 2023 CR-V's style. The sides are designed with thick molding and athletic pinstripes. The Pilot, on the other hand, has smooth sides and a flat, tall roofline. To accommodate its three-row cabin, the body is also longer. At the front of the Pilot, distinguished air vents flanking a metal-accented bumper.

Features

Both of these models offer various features that can elevate your driving experience. The CR-V and the Pilot both have driver's memory settings, a hands-free liftgate, a Bose audio system, a wireless charging pad, forward collision mitigation, smart device app connections, a heated steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, a navigation system, and adaptive cruise control. If you opt for the 2023 Pilot, your SUV may have a few extra features. These may include power-folding side mirrors, automatic wipers, parking sensors, heated seats for the first two rows, second-row captain's chairs, a cabin intercom system, a wireless hotspot, and a few others.
